Dr. Jered B. King - General Dentistry and Endodontics

    Dr. King is a native of Boise, Idaho and currently resides in Georgia with his wife and 2 children. Dr. King is working for the United States Air Force, and moonlighting at Everyone Loves a Gentle Dentist a few days a month limiting his dentistry to Endodontics (root canals). Dr. Kings education includes: a BS in Science and Zoology From Bringham Young University; Provo,UT  2001, Doctor of Dental Medicine, with Honors from Nova Southeastern University;Fort Lauderdale, FL  2005, and AEGD Hospital based residency, United States Air Force; Las Vegas, NV 2006. Dr. King is affiliated with AAE ( American association of Endodontics), OKU (National Dental Honor Society) , SCADA (Student Clinicain ADA), and ADA (American Dental Association). In Dr. Kings spare time he enjoys spending time with his beautiful family, being active in his church, and Diving and Spearfishing with Dr. Bennett .

 

Dr. Nikia Burns - Orthodontist

    Dr. Nikia Burns is very excited to be joining Dr. Travis Bennett in offering orthodontic services in Key Largo, FL. Nikia was born and raised in Waynesburg, PA and graduated with honors from Waynesburg Central High School in 1996. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-medicine in 2000 from Pennsylvania State University. In 2005, Nikia earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Dentistry, where she graduated in the top 2%of her class. Following her graduation from Dental School, Nikia entered the Orthodontic Program at the West Virginia University School of Dentistry and earned her Master's in Orthodontics in 2008.

Nikia is a member of the Penn State Alumni Association, Golden Key Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, American Association of Dentists, and the American Association of Orthodontists. Throughout her education, Nikia has received several awards for excellence in research and academics. She is currently working on her first research publication in the American Journal of Orthodontics. Among her many interests, Nikia enjoys traveling, snow skiing, golfing, and weight lifting.
